Ian Wright said he “Really disappointed” by the “disgraceful behaviour” of some Leicester fans during the Community game. Shield win over Manchester City on Saturday
Ian Wright said the verbal harassment targeted him and ITV philosopher Roy Keane.
The ex-Arsenal striker appeared to be clearly outraged by something in the crowd and calling Leicester fans “jugs” while still in the air.
He later clarified that he was referring to a small group of supporters.
“Let me clarify because obviously the Leicester fans know how much I respect them. Their owners and Leicester are constantly getting bigger and what they do,” Wright said on Twitter.
“But what I want to say is Being a graduate from where we live Some Leicester fans They know what they say to me. You let yourself be a big disappointment.”
“Leicester shouldn’t have done that. Some fans you don’t represent Leicester.”
Leicester won the game 1-0 from late penalty from substitute Kelechi Iheanacho.
