Brighton continued to heat up as Neil Maupay scored a penalty and Danny Welbeck’s header gave the club a 2-1 win over Leicester.

In the first half, Brighton took a penalty in the 35th minute after referee Stuart Atwell converted the penalty to VAR. It is Yannick Westergaard’s handball.

In the second half

In the second half, the hosts led 2-0 in the 50th minute from a free-kick from the right, Leandro Trossar opening into the penalty box, Danny Welbeck shied away from Jamie Vardy and headed past Kasper Schmeichel.

Leicester fired 2-1 in the 61st minute as a coordinated effort of Ricardo Pereira, Ademola Lookman and Youri Tielemans crossed from right for Jamie Var. Di has a simple shot from four yards in celebration of his 250th Premier League game.

In the 67th minute

In the 67th minute, the visitors almost equalized, with Ademola Lookman pouring in for Harvey Barnes. Becomes an offside rhythm.

At the end of the game, Brighton beat Leicester 2-1, keeping the group at the top of the table brilliantly.
